ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Annie Dickson is the founder of Bite This by Annie, a Columbus-based bakery known for its bold flavors, alternative style, and strong sense of community. She started the business in 2022, baking for local farmers markets before opening the bakery’s first brick-and-mortar location in 2024.

What began as a small passion project quickly grew into a local favorite, known for creative desserts, sell-out weekends, and a loyal customer base that proudly calls themselves the “Creeps.” Beyond baking, Annie is passionate about creating a space where people feel welcome, supported, and connected. Her work often centers on community building, mental health awareness, and sobriety advocacy.

Today, Bite This continues to grow as both a bakery and a community hub, bringing people together through food, creativity, and a shared sense of belonging.
